PEDAL ASSIST

For some people retaining a steady heart rate level is detrimentally important to their health during exercise.

Or your goal may be to get fitter one ride at a time by Pacing your rides according to your own level of fitness.

The 1000w Mid drive conversion is fitted with a 9 levels of Electric pedal assist (PAS) .

PAS helps you maintain a steady level of power no matter how steep the gradient becomes.

PAS is controlled via a plus + ( for more power assistance ) minus - ( for less power assistance) .

This button is controlled on your handlebar. Simply increase and decrease the level of power you need while riding.

Increasing PAS not only helps you up steep hills , it also alleviates pressure on your knees , hips or shoulders which prevents injury and allows you to ride and exercise longer than you would normally be able to.

THROTTLE

In addition to PAS (9 levels of pedal /power assist) we also install a safety thumb throttle. When the throttle is engaged it over-rides the PAS. This is particularly helpful when wanting immediate forward momentum.

For example : From a stationary position on a steep hill or stop street or in an emergency situation where for whatever reason you need instant power without the need for turning pedals.

PAS works when you turn the pedals and it takes almost one revolution before pedal assist power is engaged. Having an emergency throttle is super helpful and gives you peace of mind even though you wont need to use it most of the time.
